Overview
About
Rebel Salute takes place every mid-January in Jamaica, hosted since 2012 at Grizzly's Plantation Cove in Priory, St. Ann parish. Founded in 1994 by reggae singer Tony Rebel, the festival champions roots and conscious reggae under the slogan "for the preservation of reggae." It is known for its wholesome, family-friendly atmosphere: no alcohol or meat is sold on site and explicit lyrics are discouraged, alongside dance, food and craft exhibitions celebrating Jamaican culture.
