Rec-Beat

Rec-Beat takes place at the Cais da Alfândega in Recife during Carnival, founded in 1995 by producer Antonio Gutierrez, known as Gutie. Free and open to all, it draws tens of thousands of people for a lineup blending Pernambuco and Brazilian music with sounds from around the world. Recognized as intangible cultural heritage of Recife, it stands as a symbol of diversity and dialogue between tradition and contemporary scenes.
