Rendez-vous chez Nous

Held annually since 2009 in Ouagadougou and across several towns and villages in Burkina Faso, this street arts festival is organized by the ACMUR association. Daytime programming brings theater, dance, circus, stilt-walking, puppetry and storytelling, while evenings feature concerts by Burkinabe and international musicians. Free and itinerant, the event takes culture out of venues and into working-class neighborhoods and rural villages around the capital.
