Rizes Fest

Launched in September 2022 in Athens at Technopolis, Rizes Fest (Greek for 'roots') bills itself as the country's largest festival-style traditional celebration. It spotlights folk music, traditional instruments and Greece's oral heritage, with dance and rebetiko, recreating the spirit of village fairs in an urban setting. The event has since expanded to Thessaloniki and Patras.
