About
Rocco del Schlacko took place every summer from 1999 to 2025 on the Sauwasen grounds in Püttlingen, Saarland, near a former slag heap from the Viktoria mine that gave the festival its name. Its lineup mixed rock, metal, hip hop and pop, with on site camping offered to attendees. The August 2025 edition marked its close after a quarter century.
