Rock a Ferrara

Rock a Ferrara, known as RockaFe, is held every year in the Malborghetto district of Boara, near Ferrara, Italy. Founded in 1993 to promote the local independent music scene and inspired by the TV show Rock Cafè, it kicks off the summer concert season between May and June with free admission to every show. Built around a contest for emerging bands, the Memorial Paolo Laccetti, it mixes local acts with national and international artists, alongside food stands and community activities.
