Rototom Sunsplash

Rototom Sunsplash is Europe's largest reggae gathering, founded in Italy in 1994 before relocating in 2010 to Benicàssim on Spain's Mediterranean coast. Over several days, reggae and its related genres fill the site from dusk into the night, spanning a main stage, a late night dancehall and the Showcase Club for emerging acts, while the Reggae University and Social Forum host talks, screenings and exhibitions on Rasta culture and peace. UNESCO has recognised it as a flagship event of the International Decade for a Culture of Peace.
