Roue Waroch

Roue Waroch takes place every February in Plescop, near Vannes in Brittany, where it has become a key gathering for traditional Breton and world music. Organized by the Petra Neue association since the 1990s, the weekend festival brings together around twenty concerts, dance and singing competitions, introductory workshops, singing walks and fest-noz nights. The fest-noz, a traditional Breton dance inscribed on UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list, is the beating heart of the event each evening.
