About
The Rudolstadt-Festival, known as TFF Rudolstadt until 2015, is held every summer in Rudolstadt, Thuringia, and ranks as Germany's largest festival for folk, roots and world music. Rooted in an East German folk-dance festival founded in 1955 and reoriented toward world music after reunification, it spreads over four days across more than twenty stages throughout the town, featuring around 150 bands and solo artists and drawing tens of thousands of visitors daily. Concerts, workshops and talks make it one of Europe's major gatherings for traditional music.
