Overview
About
Sacrum Profanum is a contemporary and classical music festival held every September in Kraków, Poland, organised by the Kraków Festival Office since 2003. Its programme blends 20th-century contemporary music, avant-garde works and indie-classical, alongside opera, sound installations and talks. The festival makes use of unusual venues, notably the former halls of the ArcelorMittal steelworks, deliberately blurring the line between classical and experimental music.
