Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival

Held in Gros Islet on Saint Lucia's north coast since 1992, this festival was originally launched to extend the island's tourist season into a quieter month. Renamed the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival in 2013, it blends acoustic and fusion jazz, rhythm and blues and calypso with dance, theatre and fashion shows. The event draws on Gros Islet's well known Friday night street party, which takes on an even livelier mood during the festival, bringing together local performers and international acts.
