Sakifo

Sakifo Musik Festival takes place at the Ravine Blanche site in Saint Pierre, on Reunion Island, and has been held since 2004 (originally in Saint Leu before moving to Saint Pierre). Its lineup ranges across pop, rock, electro, French chanson, blues and reggae alongside sega and maloya, the traditional musics of the Indian Ocean. What sets it apart is its rooting in the Indian Ocean basin: alongside international headliners, local and regional artists occupy a central place on the bill.
