About
Salamanca Rock takes place in La Banda, in Argentina's Santiago del Estero province, at Club Sarmiento. Launched in 2010 by the local municipality as a rock counterpart to the long-running Salamanca Folclore festival, it spans two days of rock, reggae and pop with a touch of local folklore. It helps bring major national rock acts, such as Babasónicos, Las Pelotas and Los Auténticos Decadentes, to Argentina's interior.
