Salon de la Guitare

The Salon de la Guitare, run by the Guitarmaniaks association, takes place in Colmar around the Koïfhus, the town's medieval former customs house, where around twenty luthiers and exhibitors showcase their craft. Concerts are held alongside at the Grillen venue, spanning gypsy jazz to fingerstyle guitar, complemented by masterclasses, open stages for regional musicians and talks on lutherie. Over the years the event has featured well known guitarists such as Biréli Lagrène, Sylvain Luc, Pierre Bensusan and Jacques Stotzem.
