About
Since 2004, the Samba Répercussion festival has taken over the village of Monléon-Magnoac, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, for a weekend of Brazilian music: samba, forró, maracatu, bossa nova. Its roughly 360 residents welcome several thousand visitors each year into the streets and onto the main stage, with batucada groups, capoeira and a craft market, in a human-scale format with no overlapping sets.
