About
Founded in 1965 by violinist Paul Wolfe, the Sarasota Music Festival brings together, each June under the Sarasota Orchestra, young musicians on a professional training track with established artists who rehearse and then perform side by side in chamber music concerts. Since 1984 it has been designated by the state of Florida as its official teaching and performing music festival.
