About
Launched in 1989 as the Savannah OnStage International Arts Festival, the Savannah Music Festival has grown into Georgia's largest music event, staging well over a hundred performances each spring across the city's historic venues. Its lineup spans an unusually wide range of genres, from jazz and bluegrass to classical, Americana, rock and soul. The organization also runs year-round education programs, including school concerts and a high school jazz competition.
