Sendai Classical Music Festival

The Sendai Classical Music Festival, affectionately known as Sencla, takes place in autumn in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, with concerts spread across several venues along the city's Namboku subway line. Founded in 2006 by the city's cultural foundation together with the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, it offers a large number of short, easy-to-attend concerts designed to make classical music approachable for all audiences.
