The Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival takes place on the farmland of the Shakori Hills Community Arts Center in Pittsboro, North Carolina. Run by two nonprofit organizations, it is held twice a year and combines concerts with dance workshops, healing arts, and dedicated spaces for families and teens. On-site camping is part of the festival experience.
