About
The Shetland Folk Festival takes place every spring in Lerwick and across several villages of Scotland's Shetland Islands, running since the late 1970s. Dedicated to folk and traditional music, it brings local and international acts to community halls and small island pubs alike. Its friendly atmosphere and the remote setting, on an archipelago north of mainland Scotland, make it a distinctive gathering for traditional music fans.
