Launched in 2023 in Las Vegas by David Benveniste with Live Nation, Sick New World runs over a single day at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds and brings together alternative metal, nu metal, metalcore, industrial and gothic rock. Its themed stages, including one focused on hardcore acts and another on industrial and gothic sounds, have featured System of a Down as a recurring headliner since the festival began.
