Sitka Summer Music Festival

Founded in 1972 in Sitka, Alaska, this chamber music festival brings together performers around classical works, from Brahms to contemporary composers. Concerts take place mainly at Harrigan Centennial Hall and the Miner Music Center, in a deliberately intimate setting, with some events limited to about fifty listeners. The programming also extends to dozens of remote Alaskan communities.
