Skagen Festival bills itself as Denmark's oldest folk music festival. It takes place in Skagen, at the northern tip of Jutland, across several stages around town, including the harbour stage and the Kappelborg cultural centre. The event also hosts the Danish Folk Music Prize, the Den Danske Folkemusikpris.
