Skamba skamba kankliai

Skamba skamba kankliai is Lithuania's oldest folklore festival, held every year since 1973 in Vilnius's Old Town on the last weekend of May. It brings together over a thousand Lithuanian performers and around a dozen foreign groups for traditional polyphonic singing (sutartinės), dances and concerts in the courtyards of the Old Town, and played a notable role in preserving Lithuanian folklore during the Soviet era.
