Sommerfest Vorstraße feat. Spittaler Straße takes place in Bremen, on the grounds of the Vorstraße and Spittaler Straße student residences, where it began in 1977 as a summer barbecue among residents. Still organised entirely by volunteers from both halls of residence, it offers over two days and two stages, outdoors and with free admission, an eclectic programme mixing rock, hip-hop, techno and pop, giving room to artists from Bremen and the surrounding area.
