Sonica Festival

Sonica Festival has been held in Ljubljana since 2009, when it was established by MoTA – Museum of Transitory Art. It presents concerts, club nights, residencies, exhibitions and talks focused on experimental, electronic, modern classical, avant-garde and transgenre contemporary music, as well as sound art. With an international scope and emphasis on the Balkans and Eastern Europe, it has hosted Nicolas Jaar, William Basinski and Tim Hecker.
