About
Soundsplash takes place every year over several days in January in Raglan (Whaingaroa), a coastal town in the Waikato region. Launched in 2001 as the Soundsplash Eco Reggae Festival, it has since broadened into a multi-genre lineup spanning reggae, hip-hop, dub, rock and electronic music, with local and international acts. The festival stands out for its strong sustainability focus (zero-waste policy, plastic bag ban) and its beachside camping atmosphere.
