Spelit

The Eteläpohjalaiset Spelit festival takes place in Alavus, South Ostrobothnia, where it has brought together hundreds of traditional Finnish musicians around kansanmusiikki since the 1970s. Concerts and sessions are held on the premises of the town's school centre, supported by around a hundred local volunteers. An autumn edition, the Lokakuun Loiskeet, complements the summer gathering.
