Spitalfields Music

This East London music charity runs an annual festival across the Spitalfields and Bethnal Green area in Tower Hamlets. Established in 1976 by conductor Richard Hickox, it now programmes contemporary premieres, classical repertoire and cross-artform collaborations. Beyond the concerts, the organisation runs an extensive community programme, with hundreds of music workshops for children and older people each year.
