The Star Festival is an electronic music event held since 2012 at the Stihl no Mori forest grounds near Sonobe in Kyoto Prefecture, reachable by shuttle from JR Sonobe Station. The two-day festival focuses on techno and electronic music with on-site camping, and has featured artists such as DJ Krush, Aoki Takamasa and Fumiya Tanaka. It is known for marathon sets, some running past ten hours, set in a secluded natural landscape.
