STRAB Festival

STRAB Festival (Subterranean Rhythm and Blues Experience) is held every year at Ponta Malongane in southern Mozambique, just a few kilometres from the South African border. Born in 2003 out of a diving weekend among South African friends, it grew into a rock, blues, jazz and fusion gathering featuring around twenty bands. Ticket numbers are deliberately capped, giving it an intimate, close-knit atmosphere by the Indian Ocean.
