About
Launched in 2000, Summer Sonic runs simultaneously in Tokyo, across the ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe venues in Chiba, and in Osaka, with lineups rotating between the two cities day by day. Acquired by Live Nation in 2014, it remains Japan's largest dual-city urban festival, spanning rock, pop, electronic, metal and hip hop, and mixing international headliners with Japanese acts.
