Summer Sonic Tokyo

Summer Sonic Tokyo takes place at ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo, and has run since 2000. Held as a mirror event to its Osaka counterpart, the festival rotates artists between the two cities over three days, with a resolutely international rock lineup mixing big Western names with the Japanese scene. It is one of Japan's largest urban festivals and is easily reached by train from central Tokyo.
