Summerfestival

In Gierle, a small village in the Belgian municipality of Lille (Antwerp province), Sjock Festival (also known as Summerfestival) draws a European crowd of punk rock, rockabilly, garage rock and surf fans every year on the first or second weekend of July. Running since 1976, it ranks among the longest-standing fixtures of Belgium's alternative rock scene, known for its friendly, low-key atmosphere.
