SummerLied

Founded in 1997 by Jacques Schleef, Summerlied takes place in the Ohlungen forest near Haguenau in Alsace and has run every other year since 2000. The festival celebrates Alsatian song alongside world music, blending folk, Celtic sounds, rock and rap through concerts, storytelling and traditional dance workshops. Several stages are set up under the trees, drawing both regional performers and bigger names, in an intimate setting surrounded by craft stalls and Alsatian food.
