About
Founded in 2016 on the grounds of the château de Surgères, this brass festival takes place among centuries-old trees. It is tied to the Académie de Cuivres et Percussions de Surgères, established in 1998 by trumpeter Clément Saunier, who directs the programming. The lineup blends brass band, jazz, chanson, world music and classical repertoire, with daily marching band shows by trainees.
