Svenska dansbandsveckan

Svenska dansbandsveckan takes place every year, during week 29, in the Orrskogen folk park in Malung, in Sweden's Dalarna region. Launched in 1986, this dance week brings together dozens of Swedish and Scandinavian dansband orchestras across several covered dance floors for evenings of continuous dancing. It traditionally opens with the Guldklaven gala, the dansband industry's leading awards ceremony, turning the small town of Malung into a hub of Swedish popular dance music for the week.
