Tablelands Folk Festival

Held in Yungaburra, on Queensland's Atherton Tablelands, this festival bills itself as the state's longest running folk festival. It takes place among heritage buildings, lakes and rainforest, with a program spanning folk, rock, blues, swing and jazz across several stages. The weekend also includes a songwriters competition, a poets breakfast and a grand parade.
