Tango du Val-Cenis

The tango festival in Val Cenis, in the Haute Maurienne Vanoise valley, offers milongas, dance introductions, classes and performances led by musicians and dancers from Argentina and Uruguay. It draws on the real history of emigrants from Lanslebourg who settled in South America in the 19th century, and culminates in an open air milonga at the Col du Mont Cenis, above 2,100 metres.
