The BPM Festival

The BPM Festival ran each early January in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, spread across the town's bars and clubs such as Blue Parrot and La Santanera. Launched in 2008 as an acronym for Bartenders, Promoters, Musicians, it grew into a major stop for house and electronic music, drawing DJs, producers and industry professionals over several consecutive days. After its final Mexican edition in 2017, the BPM brand relocated, including to Portugal.
