The Great Blue Heron Music Festival

Held since 1992 in the hills of Sherman in western New York State, this festival brings together jam bands, funk, groove and roots music each summer across several outdoor stages. The family-oriented program includes instrument workshops, dance lessons and late-night drum circles. It takes place at the Heron Farm and Event Center, near Jamestown.
