Theatron-Festival

The Theatron-Festival brings the Seebühne, a lakeside amphitheatre in Munich's Olympic Park, to life over the Whitsun weekend and again during the summer MusikSommer. Launched in the early 1970s and completely free to attend, it draws more than 100,000 visitors a year and was even entered into the Guinness World Records in 2002 for its uninterrupted run. The lineup spans nearly every style, from classical and jazz to punk, rap, techno, indie and world music, featuring local, regional and international acts.
