Timitar

Festival Timitar is held every July in Agadir, spread across several open-air venues including Place Al Amal, Place Bijaouane and the Théâtre de Verdure. Founded in 2004, it celebrates Amazigh (Berber) music and culture while opening up to world music, rap and jazz. Almost all concerts are free to attend, making it a popular gathering that draws hundreds of thousands of festivalgoers each edition.
