Tokyo Jazz Festival

Founded in 2002, Tokyo Jazz Festival has grown into Japan's largest jazz event, known for its high musical standards and international lineup. Originally based in Marunouchi, it moved to Shibuya in 2017, with NHK Hall as its flagship venue, while also spilling into streets, parks and public spaces. Past performers have included Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and Kamasi Washington.
