Tumbuna Sing-Sing

Tumbuna Sing-Sing is held in the Paiyagona Valley near Mount Hagen, in the Papua New Guinea highlands. Its name, meaning "ancestors" in Tok Pisin, sums up its purpose: a celebration of local tradition through song, dance and tribal dress, bringing together more than a dozen ethnic groups from the highlands and coastal areas. Privately organized by tour operators, it remains accessible only to guests on organized tours rather than to the general public.
