About
Founded in 1998, the Tuska Open Air Metal Festival takes place each summer in Suvilahti park, in the Kalasatama district of Helsinki, where it moved in 2011 after a decade at Kaisaniemi park. Focused on heavy and extreme metal, it draws tens of thousands of attendees over three days, making it one of the larger events of its kind in Northern Europe.
