Urban Empire

Urban Empire is held in Limoges, typically at the Beaublanc stadium. Created in 2007 as a successor to the 'Urban Days', the festival blends several musical styles around urban culture, with a strong hip-hop presence driven partly by young rappers from Limoges neighborhoods, alongside established artists spanning reggae, ska and French chanson. Its festive atmosphere and secondary stage bridging the main-stage sets make it a highlight of summer in the Limousin region.
