About
Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre takes place in Logan, Utah, staging six fully mounted repertory works with orchestra each July and August, ranging from opera to operetta to musical theatre. Founded in 1992 by tenor Michael Ballam, the festival performs at the Ellen Eccles Theatre and the Utah Theatre, the latter also home to a Wurlitzer organ used to accompany silent film screenings. It runs alongside an education arm, with a conservatory and academy training young performers.
