Vacances Percutantes

Vacances Percutantes takes place every summer in Blanquefort, near Bordeaux, combining a training course and a festival devoted to percussion ensembles. Launched in the 1990s by Clément Fauconnet and run by the association Percus 47, it brings together students, teachers, artists and audiences around the discovery of percussion instruments. The programme spans every style the instrument allows, from classical and contemporary music to jazz, musical theatre, traditional music and electronic sounds.
