Varela Rock

Varela Rock is a rock festival held in Florencio Varela, in Argentina's Buenos Aires province, founded in September 2006 on the initiative of local band Bien al Sur with municipal backing. Conceived as a platform to promote local musicians and rock culture in the district, it brings together families and young people around local and national acts, including Argentine rock veterans Vox Dei. Over time it has grown to include spin-off events such as Expo Varela Rock, combining exhibitions, workshops and performances.
